2015 (Junior): O’Brien earned All-Southland Conference honorable mention...Team Captain was one of five Huskies to start all 17 games...logged 1,558 minutes, tied for the most on the team...had 11 shots with six of them on goal.

2014 (Sophomore): Appeared in and started 21 matches…had four goals and two assists for 10 points, which led all defenders…scored in back-to-back games on two occasions: against Montana (9/5) and at Houston (9/12)...also found the back of the net at Northwestern State (9/26) and versus Lamar (9/28)…had a 22 shot percentage and a 61 shot on goal percentage (11-of-18)…third on the team with 1982 minutes played, as she played in 90 or more minutes 18 times, including the final 17 matches of the season…team captain...named Second Team All-Conference and earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team...named to SLC Fall Honor Roll.

2013 (Freshman): One of six Huskies to start all 19 matches...led all freshmen with three points, on one goal and one assist...both came in the same match, against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (10/27)...half of her shots (7-of-14) were on goal...played 1,680 minutes, which were third-highest on the team...played 90 or more minutes 13 times...named to the Southland Conference Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School: Four-year letterwinner in women's soccer for head coaches Tony Bidwell and Noel Quinn...named All-State and All-Conference in 2011 and 2012...team captain in 2012...played club for Minnesota Thunder Academy and head coach Mark Yuiell...team attended Nationals in 2011-12.

Personal: Full name is Kristen Renee O'Brien...born Sept. 6, 1994 in Edina, Minnesota...daughter of Jay and Leann O'Brien...has one brother, Parker...mother, Leann, played basketball at both Creighton University and St. Ambrose University from 1980-85...father, Jay, played football at Bethel University from 1979-83...majoring in kinesiology/wellness management.
