2019 (R-Freshman): Started and appeared in 14 games in goal for the Huskies…totaled 66 saves for an average of 4.71 saves per game, ranking her fourth in the Southland Conference…recorded 10 saves on two occasions, first against 17^th-ranked TCU (9/12) and then again at Abilene Christian (9/20)…made eight stops against UIW (10/11) and had seven saves at North Texas (8/30)…ended the season with a save percentage of .702 and a 2.09 goals against average in 1,204 total minutes in goal.

2018 (Freshman): Redshirt season.

High School: Two-year captain and letterwinner for coach Kyle Westerberg at Barbers Hill High School…led the inaugural Barbers Hill team to a 15-5-3 record in 2017 and a spot in the state playoffs with a .947 goals against average while totaling 164 saves with 13 shutouts…earned Academic All-State honors as a senior while also earning All-District, District Goalkeeper of the Year and Academic All-District honors during her high school career…graduated in the top five percent of her graduating class…member of the National Honor Society...played for the Dash Developmental Academy and Texas Rush ECNL and goalkeeper coach Justin Fite…posted a goals against average of 0.78 while totaling 38 shutouts and 50 wins during her club career from u15 through u18.

Personal: Full name is Ashtyn Reigh Franks…born August 14, 2000 in Houston…daughter of Reagan Franks and April Garcia…has one sister, Kennedy, and four brothers, Kaden, Ethan, Nolan and Gavin…father played football at Sam Houston State and her mother was a cheerleader at SHSU…majoring in psychology.
