2021-22 (Senior)…Led the Huskies in rebounding with 196 (7.3 per-game), was second in blocks with 33, and added five points per game while shooting 37 percent from the field…She totaled four double-doubles including a 13-point 13-rebound performance against New Mexico on 11/23…She set a career high 17 rebounds against the Islanders on 1/5…She was named to the All-Southland Defensive team along with the All-Academic Second-Team

2020 (Junior/COVID-19): Nzoiwu appeared in 21 games, including 13 starts, averaging 13.6 minutes per game... averaged 4.9 points, led the team with 7.4 rebounds per game and team-leading 35 blocks, also adding 13 steals...had five double-figure rebound games...posted a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds while adding season high six blocks against Northwestern State (1/02)... scored season high 12 points with eight rebounds against LeTourneau (12/14)... nailed season high 14 rebounds against A&M-Corpus Christi (3/01).

2019 (Sophomore): Nzoiwu appeared in 28 games, including 15 starts, averaging 18.0 minutes per game…averaged 5.1 points, led the team with 5.1 rebounds per game, and had a team-leading 35 blocked shots…scored in double figures three times and had double-figure rebounds four times…posted a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds at Sam Houston (2/22)…also had a double-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and a season high six blocks at UIW (1/29)…had 18 rebounds at Texas Tech (12/15)…also pulled down 10 rebounds against McNeese (2/29)…member of the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Academic Honor Roll.
 
2018 (Freshman): Appeared in 19 games for the Huskies, including three starts...shot  48.4 percent from the field and 63.3 percent from the free-throw line on the season... Averaged 4.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game in 15.2 minutes per game... Recorded a double-double against Northwestern State (2/21) where she scored a Career high 11 points and Career high 15 rebounds. Nzoiwu shot 4-9 from the field going 3-4 from the free-throw line grabbing 11 defensive boards with two steals, one assist, and one block...against Central Arkansas (2/13) scored eight points on 4-5 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds with six being on the offensive glass to go with her three blocks...in the season finale against Texas A&M Corpus Christi (3/9) scored eight points with 10 rebounds and a season high five blocks.

High School: Three year letter winner at Cedar Ridge High School…averaged nine points, eight rebounds, three blocks and one assist per game as a junior…played club for Lady Thunder…averaged 12 points, five rebounds, three blocks, and two assists per game.

Personal: Full name is Marilyn Amarachukwu Nzoiwu…born in Austin, Texas… daughter of Polycarp and Teresa Nzoiwu…has three older siblings Michael, William and Michelle and one younger brother, Myles…majoring in Criminal Justice.
