Junior (2017-18): Appeared in 23 games with 13 starts…shot 34.4 percent from the floor, 40.0 percent from behind the arc and 40.0 percent from behind the line…averaged 2.3 points and 2.4 rebounds a game…scored a career high eight points at McNeese (2/24)…matched her season best seven boards at Abilene Christian (1/10)…awarded Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Sophomore (2016-17): Collins earned Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll…appeared in 20 games with 7 starts… shot 60.0 percent from the 3-point line, 38.5 percent from the free-throw line, averaged 1.9 rebounds and 1.3 points per game…pulled down a season high of seven rebounds twice at Central Arkansas (2/18) and against A&M-Corpus Christi (2/4)

Freshman (2015-16): Collins appeared in 18 games, averaging 5.8 minutes, 1.3 points and 1.5 rebounds per game…recorded two blocked shots and three steals…scored a season-high four points three times: against Omaha (11/27), at Texas Southern (12/5) and against Huston-Tillotson…pulled down a season-high five rebounds at UTEP (11/15).

High School: Was a four-year letterwinner and starter in basketball for head coach Cassandra Gabriel...as a freshman, she was named Second Team All-District 17-4A...earned First Team All-District honors as a sophomore and also had a great volleyball season, earning Honorable Mention All-District honors in that sport as well...as a junior, Collins was named Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year as well as Queen of the Glass at Cedar Creek in addition to earning a second-consecutive First Team All-District selection...during senior campaign, she was once again named the school's Offensive Player of the Year and Queen of the Glass as well as Most Valuable Player...also earned her third-straight First Team All-District accolade...four-time Academic All-District selection, maintaining a 90 or above average throughout each of her four basketball seasons.

Personal: Full name is Kennedy Rachelle Collins...majoring in pre-med...born April 15, 1997 in Austin, Texas...daughter of Benita and Bernard Collins...mother played basketball at the University of Texas for head coach Jody Conradt...has one brother, Alfred Collins, Jr...two sisters, Mackenzie and Teri...cousin Trenton Brown was drafted by the NFL's San Francisco 49ers in 2015.
