Biography
2023-24 (Redshirt Freshman): Maguire appeared in 26 games while making five starts, averaging 16.2 minutes per game…finished the year averaging 5.2 points per game…added 33 assists and 19 steals while also averaging 1.3 rebounds per game…scored a career-best 17 points on two occasions, vs. UIW (2/10) and at McNeese (2/29)…was the team’s leading scorer three times…pulled down a career-high five rebounds vs. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (2/22)…scored 15 at Texas A&M-Commerce (1/13), knocking down 3-of-7 from behind the arc...named to Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2022-23 (Freshman): Appeared in three games, averaging 14.8 minutes per appearance…scored 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting in HCU’s win over St. Thomas (12/10)…finished the year with 13 points, three rebounds, seven assists and two steals…named to SLC Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll.
High School: Maguire played high school ball for The Hun School (N.J.) and averaged 20 ppg, 4.6 steals, 3.8 assists, and 5.5. rebounds for her team. She was named to the 1st Team All Area and was named Trentonian Co-Prep Player of the Year in 2022. The Hun School named her Student-Athlete of the Year for her work on the floor. She played club basketball for Ulster University in Norhtern Ireland. During her time there she averaged 24 ppg, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals. During her time with Ulster her team won seven Northern Ireland Club Championships from 2013-19, were Senior Women's National Cup Finalists in 2019, were Senior Women's Norhtern Conference Champions in 2019, were Senior Women's National Cup Semi-Finalists in 2020, and were U20 Women's National Cup Finalists in 2020. She will join her sister Enya on the team in the 2022-23 season.
