Biography

2022-23 (Junior): Maguire appeared in 29 games with five starts, averaging 17.7 minutes per game…averaged 5.6 points per game, shooting 36.5 percent (38-of-104) from three-point range…finished with 47 assists, 26 steals and five blocked shots… scored a career-high 19 points twice, vs. Arlington Baptist (12/7) and at Nicholls (2/25)…made five three-pointers in a game three different times and finished second on the team in made threes for the season… scored in double-figures six times…named to SLC Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll.

2021-22 (Sophomore): Started in 14 games of the 27 games she appeared in for the Huskies…Averaged six points and totaled 65 rebounds. She was third on the team in assists with 46…She shot 37 percent from the field and 33 percent from distance…She scored a season high 14 points off of the bench against Nicholls in just 19 minutes on 2/19. She knocked down three consecutive triples and a pair of layups for the Huskies.

2020 (Freshman/COVID-19): Maguire appeared in 17 games including one start averaging 13.8 minutes... Totaled 60 points and 18 rebounds with 24 assists and 16 steals... Nailed 11 points and three rebounds with two assists and three steals against McMurry (12/12)... Tallied nine points going 3-for-3 at the three-point line against Northwestern State (2/06).

High School: Maguire played at Ulidia Integrated College in Belfast, then for coach Bill Holup at The Hun School in Princeton, New Jersey…also played club basketball for the Ulster Elks and coach Pat O’Neill…in 17 games in her senior season at Hun, Maguire averaged 14.9 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 3.2 steals per game…scored a season-high 30 points, with seven rebounds, five assists and seven steals in a win over Steinert…after missing the first eight games of the season with an injury, she had 20 points and 10 assists in only her second game back in a win over Mercersburg… helped guide Ireland to a bronze medal at the U20 B Women’s Basketball European Championships and has a gold medal in judo for Northern Ireland.
