Rory enters his first year as a graduate video and marketing manager with women’s basketball. He previously worked with the team on a volunteer basis as part of a two-month internship whilst obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Science from Robert Gordon University (RGU) in Scotland.
Rory, originally from Forfar, Scotland; Played in the Scottish National league at youth level before playing in BUCS leagues for RGU, where in his final year he helped lead the club to “RGU Club of the year” as President also winning a BUCS Scottish 3A title and making a Scottish Conference Final appearance during his time on the men’s team.
Rory has a passion for performance analysis and coaching, previously coaching with Grampian Flyers u16 as an assistant coach before moving to Houston in the Fall of 2017. His responsibilities for the team involve the breakdown and analysis of practices and games as well as collecting scouting footage for upcoming opponents. Rory helps to create promotional graphics for the team and coach’s social media as well as creating our new show Ballin’ with Brooklyn.
