Dianna Wilson-Jones

Dianna Wilson-Jones is in her first season on the HCU women’s basketball coaching staff.

Wilson-Jones spent the 2023-24 season as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Loyola New Orleans where she helped lead a top 25 Wolfpack squad to the NAIA Sweet 16 and an overall record of 26-5 with a 15-3 mark in SSAC play. Loyola went on to win the SSAC tournament championship to clinch its postseason berth.

Prior to her season at Loyola, Wilson-Jones was an assistant coach at Midwestern State, her alma mater, for three seasons. She coached one season at Temple College after working as a graduate assistant at Midwestern State in 2016-17.

Wilson-Jones was a star point guard for the Mustangs from 2011-15, finishing in the top-15 in program history in multiple categories. She closed her career ranking third in assists (372), seventh in made free throws (349), 13th in made threes (95), 14th in points (1,106) and 14th in steals (149). She went on to play professionally in Egypt, Mexico and El Salvador before beginning her coaching career.
