Biography
Junior (2017-18): Appeared in eight games due to injury earlier in the season…awarded Southland Conference Spring Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Sophomore (2016-17): Before experiencing a season ending injury, Johnson appeared and started in 8 games… averaged 21.5 minutes a game, went 14-16 (87.5 percent) behind the line, had 17 assists and averaged 4.3 points per game… against Oral Roberts (11/26) she shot 6-6 behind the line, went 3-5 from the floor and scored 12 points.
Freshman (2015-16): Johnson played in all but one of the Huskies’ 29 games, with 11 starts…averaged 2.4 points, 1.0 rebound, was fourth on the team with 48 assists and came up with 11 steals…shot 35.3 percent from the floor and 35.3 (10-for-27) from behind the arc…scored a career-high 10 points and tied her season high with six assists at Sam Houston State (2/13)…also had six assists and pulled down a season-high four rebounds at home against Sam Houston State (1/30).
High School: A two-year letterwinner and starter for head coach Jill McDill...as a junior, Bria averaged 8.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game and earned All-District, All-Region, and All-State honors. She is a three-time A/B Honor Roll recipient...played club for the Texas Fire and head coach Marty Murphy.
