2021-22 (Junior): Thompson made two starts while appearing in 11 games, averaging 10.9 minutes per game…averaged 2.5 points and 2.3 rebounds per game…shot 50 percent (9-of-18) from the field…pulled down a career-best 11 rebounds in the Huskies’ 149-144 quadruple-overtime win over McNeese (3/5) and scored a season-high seven points…dished out a career-high four assists against Barclay (11/13).

2020-21 (Sophomore): Played in 20 games and averaged 14.2 minutes per game while making three starts...averaged 3.2 points and 1.7 rebounds per game…scored a season-high 16 points off the bench at Sam Houston (1/16), adding five rebounds and shooting 6-of-10 from the floor…pulled down a season-best six rebounds against Rice (12/5)…shot 41.1 percent (23-of-56) from the field.

2019-20 (Freshman): Thompson appeared in four games as a freshman while making one start and averaging 20 minutes per game…he averaged 10.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while shooting 53.1 percent (17-of-32) from the floor, 37.5 percent (3-of-8) from beyond the arc and 75 percent (6-of-8) from the free throw line…led the team in scoring with a career-high 19 points against Incarnate Word (1/29) while also pulling down seven rebounds, connecting on 8-of-13 shooting…set a season-best with eight rebounds at McNeese (1/25) to go along with 13 points…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

High School: A two-year starter at United Faith Christian Academy in Providence, N.C. for Coach Josh Coley…averaged 14 points, eight rebounds, six assists and two blocked shots per game as a senior…was named North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association All-State as a senior…also earned Southern Piedmont All-Conference recognition…was a member of the National Honor Society.
