2013 (Junior): McCoy was the only HBU player to start all 59 games, all in rightfield…reached base safely in the first 34 games of the season…hit .330, led the team with 13 doubles, had one triple, 27 RBIs and was second on the team with 46 runs…had a team-leading 39 walks and was second on the team with 16 hit by pitches…hit .375 with six doubles, 11 RBIs and 23 runs in conference play…tied for second on the team with 20 multiple-hit games and had four multiple-RBI games…went 1-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and a run in the Huskies’ 13-3 victory over Northern Colorado in the championship game of the Great West Conference Tournament (5/25)…went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run in HBU’s win over North Dakota (5/23) in the Great West Conference Tournament that sent the Huskies to the championship game…had two hits in each game of a four-game series at NJIT (5/16-5/18)…went 3-for-5 with a run against NYIT (5/5)…went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, a season-high four RBIs, a walk and two runs at Prairie View A&M (4/23)…scored three runs against North Dakota (4/7)…went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and scored twice against Harvard (3/22).

Previous School: Played two seasons at Marshalltown Community College in Marshalltown, Iowa, for coach Rich Grife…for his career, hit. 357 with 13 home runs, 90 RBIs, 121 hits, and a .596 slugging percentage…was a two-time all-region selection…made the Dean’s List all four semesters.

High School: Was a three-year starter at Centerville High School in Centerville, Iowa, for coach Bill Huisman…as a senior, hit .500 with six home runs…earned Iowa All-State honors three times…selected to play in the Iowa High School All-Star Series…helped lead The Big Red to the Iowa 3A State Championship as a sophomore…earned academic all-district and honor roll honors all four years.
