Biography

Previous Schools: Ortiz played two seasons at Howard College for coach Mike Lopez. Appeared in 24 games as a sophomore, hitting .325 with two home runs, six doubles, 32 RBIs, 23 runs and posted a .404 on-base percentage. Threw out 5-of-17 on stolen base attempts. Played in seven games as a freshman during the shortened 2020 season, batting .333 with a triple, two RBIs and five runs.
