2015 (Freshman): Garcia appeared in 27 games, with seven starts as the designated hitter and two starts at catcher...hit. 255 with three doubles, six RBIs and two runs…singled in his first career at-bat against Prairie View A&M (2/13)…delivered a pinch-hit double against Michigan State (2/20)…had a pinch-hit RBI single against McNeese State (3/6)…went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a run at Prairie View A&M (3/24)…went 2-for-4 with a double at Incarnate Word (3/27).
 
High School: Was a four-year letterwinnner at Sterling High School for Coach Paul Tadlock...as a senior, hit .394 with three home runs, 11 doubles and 24 RBIs...hit a grand slam against Clear Lake in the first at-bat of his senior season...was a member of the National Honor Society and was in the top 10 percent of his class.
