2016 (Junior): Wick made eight appearances on the mound...did not record a decision, posting a 14.04 ERA, six strikeouts and nine walks in 8.1 innings…had his longest outing of the season with three innings and two strikeouts at CSUN (3/19)...named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
2015 (Sophomore): Made seven appearances on the mound, including three starts…went 0-2 with a 6.43 ERA with nine strikeouts and nine walks…made his first career starts, allowing two runs on three hits with two strikeouts in 4.2 innings of a 6-2 win at Prairie View A&M (3/24)…allowed three runs, one earned, with a career-high four strikeouts in 5.0 innings of a start against UTSA (4/7).
 
Previous School: Played two seasons at Blinn College...as a sophomore, made 15 appearances...went 4-3 with a 3.62 ERA, a save, 40 strikeouts, 18 walks and four complete games in 72.0 innings...earned NJCAA all-academic recognition and was named to the athletic director’s honor roll.
 
High School: Played at La Grange High School...as a senior, made 16 appearances and went 7-2 with six complete games and two shutouts in 60.0 innings...also hit .675 (27-for-40) with six doubles and 19 RBIs.
 
Personal: Full name is Weston John Wick…born June 12, 1994, in Houston…son of Leo and Kerri Wick…has two younger brothers, Austin and Wyatt, and one younger sister, Amie…majoring in accounting.
