2021: Zarella made 13 appearances, including eight starts…went 0-8 with a 7.35 ERA, 36 strikeouts and 24 walks in 52.2 innings…struck out a season-high eight in six innings at Nicholls (3/27)…allowed one run on five hits with five strikeouts in 6.1 innings at UIW (5/9)…named to Southland Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
 
Prior to HBU: Played one season at Alvin Community College…as a freshman, made 13 appearances, including four starts, going 4-1 with a 3.20 ERA, 33 strikeouts and 25 walks in 45.0 innings…played at Clear Falls High School.
