2020: Solomon appeared in nine games, including five starts…hit .150 with two home runs, a double, five RBIs and three runs…went 1-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs against Ball State (2/22)…went 2-for-5 with a mammoth home run, a double, two RBIs and two runs in the season finale against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3/10)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Academic Honor Roll.
 
2019: Appeared in 25 games, including nine starts…hit .116 with a home run, three doubles, four RBIs and four runs…homered in a pinch-hit appearance at #23 Texas A&M (2/26)…doubled and scored three runs against Prairie View A&M (3/12)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Prior to HBU: Played two seasons at Paris Junior College for coach Clay Cox…hit .321 with two home runs, five doubles, 15 RBIs and 15 runs as a sophomore, earning third-team academic all-America honors…hit .297 with a home run, six doubles, 22 RBIs and 22 runs as a freshman, earning first-team academic all-America honors…was a two-year starter at Katy High School for coach Tom McPherson.

Personal: Son of Jeff and Virginia Solomon…has one sister, Kara, who played softball at Southwestern University…majoring in education.
