Biography

2021: Powell made one appearance before an injury kept him out the rest of the season…did not allow a run on two hits with two strikeouts and a walk at Rice (2/22)…named to Southland Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
 
Prior to HBU: Played one season at Stephen F. Austin in 2018…as a freshman, made 20 appearances, including three starts…went 3-2 with a 9.53 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 22.2 innings. Played at Montgomery High School, where he was ranked among the Top 100 overall and the 22nd-ranked righthanded pitcher in the state as a senior.
