2018 (Redshirt Freshman): Simon appeared in 10 games, including one start at catcher…went hitless in seven at-bats, but walked three times and scored a run…went 0-for-2 with a sacrifice bunt in his first career start against McNeese (5/1).
 
2017 (Freshman): Redshirted his first year at HBU.
 
High School: Was a four-year starter at Brazosport Christian School for coach Kirk Jones...as a junior, hit .500…as a sophomore, hit .545...as a freshman, hit .483…was a two-time first-team all-state selection…earned first-team all-district honors three times…helped lead the Eagles to the 2014 TAPPS 2A State Championship…earned first-team all-state honors and defensive MVP honors in basketball in 2015…named all-state honorable mention in 2014…was a two-time all-district selection…also ran track, qualifying for the state meet in the 800 meters, 4x200-meter relay and 4x400-meter relay.
 
Personal: Full name is Jeremy Christopher Simon...born Feb. 4, 1998, in The Woodlands, Texas…son of Jim and Dana Simon…has a twin brother, Elijah, who is also a member of the HBU baseball team…majoring in business marketing.
