Previous School: Buck played two seasons Palomar College…hit .371 with five home runs, nine doubles and 35 RBIs to earn first-team all-conference honors in 2017…also picked up a Southern California Player of the Week award…named to the all-academic team.

High School: Was a two-year letterwinner at Carlsbad High School…also played basketball…held between a 3.8-4.2 GPA.

Personal: Full name is Grant Elliott Buck…born Oct. 16, 1996, in La Jolla, California…son of Lawrence and Tracee Buck…has one sister, Morgan…majoring in business finance.
