2021: Dumont played in 27 games, including 19 starts…hit .200 with three doubles, a home run, four RBIs, 10 runs and five stolen bases…went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs in a season-opening win over Rice (2/20)…hit a solo home run at Rice (3/9)…went 2-for-4 with two RBIs at Lamar (4/2)…went 3-for-5 at Oral Roberts (4/9)…named to Southland Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
2020: Dumont played in 16 games, including 12 starts…hit .179 with two home runs, two doubles, a triple, four RBIs, nine runs and went 3-for-3 on stolen bases…went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, an RBI and scored twice against Northern Colorado (2/16)…in the season finale against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3/10), went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, an RBI and scored three runs…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Academic Honor Roll.
Previous School: Played two seasons at Northeast Community College, hitting .338 with six home runs, 18 doubles, a triple, 33 RBIs, 73 runs and 17-of-18 on stolen base attempts as a sophomore…as a freshman, hit .366 with nine home runs, 16 doubles, three triples, 30 RBIs, 63 runs and 19-of-20 on stolen base attempts.
High School: As a senior, hit .463 with two home runs, nine doubles, 21 RBIs and 26 runs…also made 10 appearances on the mound, going 3-1 with a save, a 2.31 ERA and 35 strikeouts in 36.1 innings…as a junior, hit .426 with five doubles, a triple, six RBIs and 16 runs…made 10 appearances on the mound, going 1-1 with two saves, a 2.42 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 26.0 innings.
