2014 (Redshirt Sophomore): Valcoviak made four appearances and had a 6.75 ERA with four strikeouts and four walks in 6.2 innings...walked two in one scoreless inning of relief against Prairie View A&M (2/15)…struck out three in 4.1 innings at Baylor (3/18).
 
2013 (Sophomore): Made three appearances, before a season-ending injury...went 0-1 with a 33.75 ERA and one strikeout in 1.1 innings…received a medical redshirt following the season.
 
2012 (Freshman): Made nine appearances on the mound, including two starts…went 0-2 with a 16.05 ERA and struck out 10 in 12.1 innings…allowed one hit and struck out one in two scoreless innings of relief against Utah Valley (5/5).
 
High School: Played at Clear Creek High School for coach Jim Mallory…was a first-team all-district outfielder…graduated cum laude and was a member of the National Honor Society.
 
Personal: Full name is Chad Christopher Valcoviak…son of Bruce and Jackie Valcoviak…has two sisters, Christen and Clarissa…majoring in finance.
