2017 (Junior): Copeland made one appearance, allowing two runs on one hits with a strikeout and three walks against LIU Brooklyn (3/3)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
Previous School: Played two seasons at Brookhaven College for coach Brandon Rains...as a sophomore, went 6-4 with a 2.61 ERA, 81 stikeouts, 22 walks and a 1.319 WHIP in 69.0 innings…as a freshman, posted a 7-3 record with a 3.02 ERA, three saves, 38 striekouts, eight walks and a 0.864 WHIP in 41.2 innings…delivered a walk-off double in his only collegiate at-bat…earned the Chancellors award for the Fall of 2014 and 2015 and Spring of 2016…received the Presidents award for Spring 2016…earned NJCAA Exemplary Academic Achievement Award.
 
High School: Was a two-year letterwinner at Plano High School for coach Rick Robertson.
 
Personal: Full name is Cameron Daniel Copeland...born Oct. 8, 1995, in Arlington, Texas…son of Michael and Sherry Copeland…has one brother, Spencer, who played baseball at East Texas Baptist from 2009-11…majoring in business management.
