Biography

2015 (Junior): Toal made six appearances on the mound, including two starts...went 0-2 with a 5.68 ERA, eight strikeouts and seven walks…allowed three runs on two hits in 2.0 innings in his first career start at UTSA (3/10)…allowed one run on four hits with four strikeouts in 5.1 innings of relief at Texas Southern (4/21).

Previous School: Played two seasons at Eastfield College...as a sophomore, made 12 appearances...went 1-3 with a 7.52 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 32.1 innings.

Personal: Full name is Brody Cale Toal...born July 18, 1992, in Dallas...son of John and Shanna Toal...has two brothers, Tyson and Tanner...Tyson pitched at Louisiana Tech...Tanner caught at the University of Oklahoma...majoring in business administration and marketing.
