2021: Sanford missed the season with an injury…named to Southland Conference Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
 
Prior to HBU: Played two seasons at Palomar College, after redshirting at CSU Bakersfield…as a sophomore, played in 19 games and hit .391 with a double, a triple, 12 RBIs and 18 runs…as a freshman, appeared in 27 games and hit .333 with three doubles, a triple, 12 RBIs and 19 runs…Was a two-year starter at West Hills High School, where he hit .420 with nine doubles, three triples, 25 RBIs and 38 runs…as a senior, hit .500 (41-for-82) with six doubles, a triple, 14 RBIs and 26 runs.
