2011-12 (Freshman): Appeared in nine games and averaged 4.7 minutes in his first season…averaged 2.1 points and 0.3 rebounds per game…scored a season-high eight points, hitting 3-of-3 from the field and 2-of-2 from the line, while dishing out two assists against Crowley’s Ridge (1/12/12)…played a season-high 11 minutes at Creighton (12/17/11).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a three-year starter for coach Zeke Smith at Aldine High School in Houston…averaged 17 points per game as a senior to earn first-team all-district honors…averaged 13 points per game as a junior to make the all-district second team…averaged 12 points per game as a sophomore…made the all-academic team his last three years of high school.
