2012 (Sophomore): Tully appeared in 25 games, making 21 starts – 15 at designated hitter, four at second base and two at third base…hit .270 with a double, nine RBIs, 10 runs and a .410 on-base percentage…hit .304 with runners in scoring position and went a team-best 8-for-9 (.889) with a runner on third and less than two outs…recorded four multiple-hit and one multiple-RBI game…went 2-for-3 with two walks, two RBIs and two runs in a 15-1 win at UT Arlington (3/4)…went 2-for-4 with a double and a run against Utah Valley (5/4)…went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run against Northern Colorado (5/25) as the Huskies eliminated the Bears in the Great West Tournament.
 
2011 (Freshman): Appeared in 35 games, making 29 starts at second base, but was injured in a collision at second base in the finale against New York Institute of Technology on May 21 and did not return…enters the season with a four-game hitting streak…hit .301 with five doubles, one home run, 14 RBIs and 15 runs…in Great West Conference play, led the Huskies with a .391 batting average, drove in eight and scored eight runs…had five multiple-hit games…went 3-for-5 with three RBIs against UT-Pan American (4/30)…doubled and drove in three at Prairie View A&M (5/10)…went 4-for-4 with a double at Utah Valley (5/13)…drove in three in the first game, then went 2-for-4 in the second game of the doubleheader against NYIT (5/20)…went 2-for-3 with a double against NYIT (5/21) in the game before his injury.
 
High School: Was a two-year starter at Boerne High School for coach Bill Merrell…was a second-team all-state selection as a senior…was also named first-team all-district and team MVP…hit .445 as a senior and had a walk-off hit to clinch the district title…was tabbed second-team all-district as a junior…made the academic all-district and academic all-state teams.
 
Personal: Full name is Garrett Paul Tully…born Oct. 16, 1991, in Beaumont, Texas…son of John and Tracy Tully…has one sister, Kamilla…enjoys hunting and fishing…majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry.
