2011 (Junior): Appeared in 60 games and made 59 starts in right field…led the team with a .343 batting average, recording 79 hits, 15 doubles, four triples, two home runs, 36 RBIs, 42 runs and five stolen bases…hit .386 with both of his home runs and 22 RBIs in Great West Conference play…had a season-high 15-game hitting streak from April 29-May 20…after that streak ended, began the seven-game hitting streak he brings into the 2012 season…led the team with 26 multiple-hit games, including five three-hit efforts…also had eight multiple-RBI performances…was named to the Great West Conference All-Tournament Team, posting a tournament-best .458 (11-for-24) batting average with a double, two triples, six RBIs and four runs…went 2-for-3 with a double and three runs scored in a 7-4 upset of No. 7 TCU (3/12)…hit safely in seven-straight games from April 8-April 16, in which he had six multiple-hit games…went 2-for-4 with a triple, a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored in an 8-7 win over North Dakota (4/8)…went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run at UT-Arlington (4/19)…went 3-for-5 with two RBIs in a 13-12 victory against UT-Pan American (4/30)…posted two hits, including a home run, in a 12-9 victory over UTPA (5/1)…scored three runs at Chicago State (5/6)…went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs at Chicago State (5/8)…went 2-for-5 with two doubles, three RBIs and two runs against New York Institute of Technology (5/21)…in the Great West Tournament, went 3-for-5 with a triple, an RBI and three runs to eliminate NJIT (5/26)…had two hits, including a double, and a career-high four RBI to eliminate NYIT (5/27)…had two hits, including a triple, in the championship game against Utah Valley (5/28).
2010 (Sophomore): Appeared in 57 games and started 56 in right field as a sophomore…Hit .305 with a home run and 35 RBIs…tied for third on the team with 13 doubles and made three outfield assists…had 20 multiple-hit games, including eight with three hits or more…went 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and a run against Concordia (3/16)…went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored against New Mexico State (4/1)…was 2-for-5 and belted his first career home run and had a career-high three RBIs against NJIT (4/10)…went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple and tied his career-high with three RBIs against Chicago State (5/1)…had a career-high four hits against Utah Valley (5/21)…was 3-for-5 with two runs and an RBI in the Huskies’ victory over Chicago State at the Great West Tournament (5/27).
2009 (Freshman): Appeared in 18 games, including four starts as a freshman…batted .200 with a double, two RBIs and six runs…recorded a .344 on-base percentage…handled 15 chances without an error…went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run at Sam Houston State (4/22)…went 1-for-3 with a double and a run against Texas-Pan American (5/22).
2008: Redshirted as a freshman at HBU.
High School: All-area MVP...Academic all-state.
Personal: Born March 30, 1989...son of Kurt and Karen Arnst...has one brother, Kasey, and two sisters, Kinsie and Kindall...twin sister, Kinsie, was a senior on the 2010 Great West Conference champion HBU soccer team...enjoys ping-pong and football...majoring in business administration and mathematics.
