Biography
2009-10 (Junior): Appeared in 28 games, including a pair of starts...averaged 2.1 points and 1.0 rebound per game on an average of 10.8 minutes per game...scored a season-high seven points at Northwestern State (11/24)...grabbed a season-high four rebounds at Creighton (12/22)...dished out a season-high three assists on three occasions.
PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Started all 62 games during his two years with the Trojans…as a sophomore, averaged 10.2 points, 4.2 assists, 3.7 steals and 3.7 rebounds per game…ranked second in the state of California in steals…earned Second Team All-Conference honors…was given the Garlington Award for being the top male student-athlete on campus…was named to the Student-Athlete Academic Achievement list every semester.
HIGH SCHOOL: Named First Team All-League…was inducted in to the Mills High School Hall of Fame…earned Dean’s List honors.
PERSONAL: Born May 24, 1989...son of Shawn Echols, Sr. and John and Kellie Zahursky…two brothers, Caleb and Trey Zahursky and three sisters, Taylor, Alisha and Makenna Zahursky...majoring in kinesiology…enjoys listening to music and playing video games.
