2011 (Junior): Earned All-Great West Conference First Team honors at designated hitter for the second straight year…hit 16 home runs to set the HBU single-season record, previously held by Jeremy Green (15 in 2003)…entering the season, Buller is tied for third all-time with 26 home runs…he also ranks seventh all-time with 132 RBIs, tied for fourth with 45 doubles and tied for fifth with 184 hits… was the only Husky to appear in and start all 62 games…hit .298 with 16 doubles and led the team with 55 RBIs and 57 runs…hit .350 with seven home runs and 31 RBIs in Great West play…recorded 19 multiple-hit games and led the team with 14 multiple-RBI games…had a season-best nine-game hitting streak from April 30-May 12…homered in the season opener at New Mexico State (2/18)…went 2-for-3 with a pair of home runs and three RBIs against Bryant (2/27)…went 3-for-5 with a home run and three runs scored at Sam Houston State (3/22)…went 2-for-4 with three RBIs against North Dakota (4/9)…went 3-for-5 with a double and a pair of runs at UT-Arlington (4/19)…had a season-high four hits with a pair of doubles, two RBIs and three runs against UT-Pan American (4/30)…had two hits in each of the last three games at Chicago State…scored three runs against the Cougars in the second game (5/6) and his two-run homer in the seventh inning of the finale (5/8) proved to be the game-winner…homered twice and drove in five runs in the series opener against New York Institute of Technology (5/20)…hit .300 with a double, a home run and six RBIs in the Great West Conference Tournament…had a pair of hits in each of the last two games.
2010 (Sophomore): Selected as the designated hitter on the Great West All-Conference First Team…named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team…named to the Great West Conference Academic All-Conference Team…appeared in 55 games, making 53 starts – 34 at designated hitter, 14 at third base and five at first base as a sophomore…ranked third on the team and 14th in the Great West with a .353 batting average, while leading the team with 10 home runs, 57 RBIs, 130 total bases and a .588 slugging percentage…was second on the team with 20 doubles and had 22 multiple hit and 18 multiple RBI games…had five straight multiple-hit games from Feb. 21-March 2, including three straight three-hit games…named the Most Outstanding Hitter at Nicholls State’s Big Boy Classic, hitting .600 (9-for-15) with three doubles, a home run, five RBIs and five runs in the three games…went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs against Tennessee-Martin (2/26)…went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, two RBIs and three runs scored against Bryant (2/27)…went 2-for-4 with a home run at Nebraska (3/14)…went 4-for-4 in the first game of the Saturday doubleheader (4/10) and went 2-for-3 with a home run, four RBIs and three runs in Sunday’s finale (4/11) against NJIT…had a pair of home runs for his first career multiple home run game and had four RBIs and three runs scored in the series opener at New York Tech (4/16), then had four hits in the second game of the Saturday doubleheader (4/17)…in the four-game series against Chicago State, hit .500 (11-for-20) with three doubles, a home run, eight RBIs and five runs…had two doubles, two RBIs and two runs in the first game, then went 4-for-5 with a double, three RBIs, two runs in the second game as the Huskies swept the doubleheader from the Cougars (5/1)...in the series finale against the Chicago State, he capped a six-run eighth inning rally with a game-winning two-run homer in an 11-10 victory (5/2)…also homered against the Cougars in the Huskies’ victory at the Great West Tournament (5/27).
2009 (Freshman): Appeared in 41 games, including 34 starts (33 at designated hitter) and four relief appearances as a freshman…was third on the team with a .297 batting average and had 10 extra-base hits, 20 RBIs and 16 runs…posted a .326 on-base percentage and slugged .383…recorded 11 multi-hit games, including four three-hit outings…went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs against Lubbock Christian (3/7)…went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBIs at Louisiana Tech (3/22)…went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and two runs against Northern Colorado (4/9)…went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs against Prairie View A&M (5/13)…recorded two hits in five of six games April 4-11, hitting .455 (10-for-22) with two doubles, with six RBIs and four runs.
High School: Named all-district as a senior...was a three-time letterman for coach Herb Espinosa.
