2020-21 (Redshirt Junior): Janacek started 19 games while appearing in all 25, finishing second on the team in minutes played with an average of 23.7 minutes on the floor per game…averaged 7.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game…finished the season shooting 32 percent (58-of-181) from the field and 28.1 percent (38-of-135) from three…led the team in free throw shooting, making 88.9 percent (24-of-27) from the charity stripe…scored a season-high 18 points in the opening round of the Southland Conference tournament against UIW (3/9)…pulled down a career-best nine rebounds at McNeese (2/27) while also adding 15 points…scored in double-figures eight times…led the team in rebounding on two occasions…recognized as a member of the NABC Honors Court…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.2019-20 (Junior): Redshirt season…earned NABC Honors Court recognition…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Prior to HBU: Janacek played his sophomore season at Angelina College for coach Nick Wade…he started 30 of 31 games he appeared in for the Roadrunners…averaged 8.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game while shooting 35.3 percent from behind the arc and 91.8 percent from the free throw line…sat out the 2017-18 season…played his freshman season in 2016-17 at Lafayette for coach Fran O’Hanlon, appearing in all 30 games and starting 12, averaging 18.2 minutes per game…shot 33.9 percent (41-of-121) from three-point range and 90.3 percent (28-of-31) from the foul line.

High School: Was a four-year letterwinner and starter at Scarborough High School in Houston for Coach Martin Wall…averaged 19 points, six assists and six rebounds per game in high school…finished as the leading scorer in Scarborough HS history…was named the district player of the year in 2014-15 and twice earned all-district honors…played club for Houston Hoops and coach Tim Schumacher.
