2020: Franson appeared in and started 16 games…hit .262 with five doubles, seven RBIs and nine runs…hit safely in his last four games and reached safely in his last six…hit .474 (9-for-19) with five doubles, three RBIs and five runs in the last four games…in the season finale against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3/10), went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and scored twice…in the series finale against Sam Houston (3/8), went 4-for-5 with two doubles and scored twice…in the opener against the Bearkats (3/6), went 2-for-5 with two doubles and scored a run…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Spring Academic Honor Roll with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
 
2019: Was the only Husky to start all 53 games…hit .280, tied for the team lead with 13 doubles, had a triple, 11 RBIs, led HBU with 41 runs and went 8-for-13 on stolen base attempts…led the team with 61 hits and recorded 16 multi-hit performances…went 3-for-4 with a double and scored twice against Central Arkansas (4/28)…went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and two runs against UT Rio Grande Valley (4/10)…went 2-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and three runs at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (4/6)…hit .385 and scored five runs in the season-opening series against Northeastern (2/15-17)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Previous School: Was a member of TCU’s two College World Series teams in 2016 and 2017 for coach Jim Schlossnagle…redshirted his first year with the Horned Frogs…as a redshirt freshman, appeared in 14 games, hitting .333…named to the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team…as a sophomore, played on San Jacinto College’s NJCAA World Series team…hit .321 with six home runs, 13 doubles, four triples, 31 RBIs and 45 runs.

High School: Was a four-year letterwinner at Lutheran South Academy for coach Aaron Schneider…for his career, hit .382…as a senior, hit .452…was the district MVP in football and Houston Touchdown Club Private School Player of the Year…was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society and PALS Leadership Program.
