2019: Fonseca received a medical redshirt after missing the entire season with an injury…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Previous School: Played two seasons at Cypress College in Cypress, California, for coaches Scott Pickler and Anthony Hutting...as a sophomore, hit .375 with two doubles, 10 RBIs and 14 runs, posting a .492 on-base percentage…as a freshman, batted .286 with a home run, nine RBIs and 11 runs…named Cypress College Player of the Week and Southern California Athlete of the Week…was an honor student, earning his associates degree in business administration.

High School: Was a four-year letterwinner at West Vancouver Secondary School for coach Brooks McNiven…as a junior and senior, combined to hit .289 with three home runs, 37 RBIs…led the North Shore Twins to two provincial titles…also led his basketball team to three North Shore championships and one provincial Championship, earning MVP honors…earned the Honor Roll Student District Scholarship Award as a senior.
