2011 (Senior): Played in 16 matches and 439 minutes...scored one goal and added an assist for three points...she scored at Grambling State (9/9) and recorded an assist against Northwestern State (9/4)...she had five shots, three on goal.
2010 (Junior): Appeared in 10 matches...scored against UTSA (8/29) on her only shot in the match....played a season-high 55 minutes against Prairie View A&M (9/3).
2009 (Sophomore): Played in all 21 contests with two starts..scored the game-winning goal against South Carolina State (11/6) in the Great West Conference quarterfinal match...played in 593 minutes with nine shots, four on goal.
2008 (Freshman): Played in 16 matches with four starts...scored two goals in second match of the season, at Prairie View A&M (8/29) and scored another at Texas State (9/28)...recorded lone assist in season opener against Texas Southern (8/26).
High School: Was fourth in district in the 200m in 2005...helped track team to a second-place finish in district in 2008...was the Shawnee Trail champion in 2007 and 2008…played club soccer for DFW Tornadoes ‘90 White...2007 Dr. Pepper Fair Play champions...won the 2006 Texas Cup...leading scorer for Aces ‘89 and Aces ‘90.
Personal: Full name is Kristina Lynn Burhans...kinesiology and business major...born on June 2, 1990 in Houston...daughter of Martin and Nancy Burhans...has two brothers, Dan and Mike, and two sisters-in-law, Kimberlee and Annie...enjoys hanging out with friends, doing church activities and mission projects and being with family.
