2018 (Junior): Jones played in 50 games, including 35 starts between the outfield and designated hitter…hit .257 with five doubles, two home runs, 13 RBIs, 24 runs and was 9-for-15 on stolen base attempts…went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run in his first career start at Baylor (2/18)…was 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two RBIs and a run at Rice (3/3)…went 2-for-5, scored twice and stole two bases at Louisiana Tech (3/9)…homered in a 4-3 victory over Nicholls (3/17)…went 2-for-4 with a home run in a 3-1 win at Central Arkansas (4/8)…had back-to-back four-hit performances, going 4-for-7 with an RBI and three runs at Abilene Christian (4/13), then 4-for-6 with a double against the Wildcats (4/14)…was 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs against Incarnate Word (4/20)…went 2-for-2 with a double at Sam Houston State (5/13)…named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
Previous School: Played one season at Blinn College for coach Harvey McIntyre…as a sophomore, hit. 361 with two home runs, 11 doubles, two triples, 12 RBIs, 36 runs and 12 stolen bases to earn first-team all-conference honors…made the Dean’s List in the fall semester and the President’s List in the spring semester…went to the NJCAA World Series with Cisco College as a freshman.
 
High School: Was a two-year starter at Ridge Point High School for coach Clinton Welch…was a second-team all-district pick in 2015…named first-team all-district and first-team all-region in 2014...ran cross country as a freshman…made the honor roll throughout high school.
