2016 (Junior): Thomas appeared in 49 games, including 44 starts at catcher…hit .217 with seven doubles, a triple, 15 RBIs and 13 runs…went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run in the season opener against Binghamton (2/19)…tripled and drove in two against Binghamton (2/20)…went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (2/23)…delivered a bases-clearing double at Central Arkansas (3/25).
 
Previous School: Played his sophomore season at Ranger College for Coach Josh Blakley…appeared in 42 games, hitting .313 with 10 doubles, a triple, three home runs and 20 RBIs and 25 runs…played his freshman season at UT Rio Grande Valley for Coach Manny Mantrana.
 
High School: Was a three-year letterwinner at Westwood High School in Austin, Texas, for Coach Bart Bratcher...as a senior, hit .351 with five home runs and 27 RBIs…named academic all-district as a sophomore, junior and senior…also earned all-region honors in football as a senior.
