2015 (Junior): Alvarez was named to the Southland Conference All-Tournament Team…appeared in 52 games, with 44 starts at first base, six at third base and four relief appearances...hit .271 with four doubles, four triples, three home runs, 27 RBIs and 25 runs…pitched 7.2 innings…recorded 12 multi-hit games…had an eight-game hitting streak from May 3-29, hitting .382 with three triples, a home run, 11 RBIs and eight runs during that span…drove in three runs in his first career game at HBU, a 13-3 victory over Prairie View A&M (2/13)…went 2-for-4 with two RBIs the following game against the Panthers (2/14)…went 4-for-5 with an RBI and a run in a 10-1 victory over Central Arkansas in the first game of a doubleheader (3/20)…went 3-for-5 with an RBI at Incarnate Word (3/27)…went 2-for-5 with his first career home run at Stephen F. Austin (4/10)…went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs against Southeastern Louisiana (4/25)…went 2-for-4 with a triple, a home run, a career-high four RBIs and three runs against Sam Houston State (5/8)…in the three-game series against the Bearkats, he went 5-for-12 (.417) with three triples, a home run, seven RBIs and six runs…went 2-for-4 and scored a run in the Huskies’ 6-0 victory over Sam Houston State in the championship game of the Southland Conference Tournament.
 
Previous Schools: Played his freshman season at Pepperdine, making 12 appearances, mostly as a relief pitcher...in his first collegiate appearance, shut out Oklahoma on one hit in 4.0 innings...finished the season with a 6.27 ERA and eight strikeouts in 8.2 innings...played his sophomore season at Orange Coast Community College in Costa Mesa, Calif., for Coach John Altobelli...went 4-for-29 with a double, a run and three RBIs...on the mound, went 2-1 with a 2.77 ERA and three strikeouts in 13.0 innings.
 
High School: Was a four-year letterwinner at Martin Luther King, Jr. High School for Coach Ken Scott...as a senior, hit .388 with a .612 slugging percentage and .982 fielding percentage...was a first-team all-league selection...was named a scholar athlete.
