2014 (Junior): Kennell made 13 appearanes, including eight starts...went 2-5 with a 7.74 ERA with 16 strikeouts and 17 walks in 50.0 innings against some of the nation’s toughest teams…started but took a no-decision in the Huskies 9-7, 13-inning victory at UTSA (2/18)…went 5.1 innings in his start at Texas A&M (2/25)…also started against Kansas (3/2)…started but took a no-decision in a 12-4 win over Prairie View A&M (3/11)…started at Baylor (3/18)…picked up the win with two innings of scoreless relief against UT Arlington (4/8)…allowed two runs on two hits in six innings to earn the win against UTSA (4/22)…went 7.1 innings in his start at Rice (5/7).
 
2013 (Sophomore): Made 15 appearances on the mound, including 13 starts…went 7-5 with a 3.73 ERA, three complete games, one combined shutout, was second on the team with 43 strikeouts in 82.0 innings…went at least seven innings in six of his 13 starts and won his last three starts…earned the win, allowing four runs on seven hits in seven innings against North Dakota (5/23) to send the Huskies to the championship game of the Great West Conference Tournament…allowed three runs, two earned, on eight hits in a complete-game, 4-3 win at Utah Valley (4/13)…gave up one run on four hits and struck out a season-high seven in a complete-game victory at Lamar (3/20)…tied his season-high with seven strikeouts at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3/27).
 
2012 (Freshman): Made 13 appearances on the mound, including 10 starts…tied for second on the team in wins, going 5-4 with a 5.86 ERA, 36 strikeouts and 26 walks in 55.1 innings…allowed four runs, two earned and struck out eight for his first collegiate victory, a 7-4 decision over Kansas (3/17)…allowed one unearned run in six innings to get the win over Chicago State (4/7)…allowed three runs in six innings to pick up the win in the second game of a doubleheader at Northern Colorado (4/21)…allowed six runs, only three earned and struck out a career-high 11 to get the win over North Dakota (5/25) in the Great West Conference Tournament.
 
High School: Was a three-year letterwinner and starter at Boerne High School for coach Bill Merrell…posted a 0.88 ERA as a junior and a 1.24 ERA as a senior…was the district MVP as a senior, after being a first-team all-district selection as a junior and a second-team pick as a sophomore…as a junior, pitched 12 innings in a 13-inning playoff victory…played summer ball at Lights Out Baseball Academy for coach Joe Orloski.
