2014 (Senior): One of just three Huskies to start all 22 matches…was part of a defense that allowed just a goal a game and registered seven shutouts…led team with 2071 minutes played, as she played 90 or more minutes 20 times…team captain.

2013 (Junior): One of six Huskies to start all 19 matches...was part of a defense that allowed just 1.05 goals per game...second on the team with 1699 minutes played, as she played in 90 or more minutes 13 times...team captain.

2012 (Sophomore): Played in 18 matches with 14 starts...was part of a defense that held opponents to just over a goal a game...played in 1309 minutes, playing in all 90 minutes seven times and all 110 minutes once.

2011 (Freshman): One of three Huskies to start all 21 matches...played in the second-most minutes on the team, and the most by a freshman, 1853...scored one goal for two points, which came against South Carolina State in conference semifinals (11/5)...played in 90 or more minutes in 17 matches.

High School: Attended Oak Ridge High School...played club for the San Juan Spirits of 93 ECNL Team under head coach Tony Perez...for the Spirits, she totaled two goals and nine assists for 13 points and was named Player of the Tournament at the Serreno College Showcase in 2009.

Personal: Full name is Alexandra Nicole Murphy...nursing major who wants to be a nurse practitioner...born on April 13, 1993 in Redwood City, Calif...daughter of Kevin and Joanne Murphy...has two sisters, Danielle and Amanda...sister Danielle was a goalkeeper for Great West Conference-member South Carolina State and her cousin, Sara Harris, was a defender for SCSU...enjoys boating, fashion and spending time with friends.
