2013 (Junior): Jarvis appeared in and started 58 games at shortstop and was named to the Great West Conference All-Tournament Team...hit .259 with nine doubles, a team-leading six triples, one home run, tied for third with 34 RBIs, scored 34 runs, tied for the team lead with 11 stolen bases and led the team with 11 sacrifice hits and 20 hit by pitches…recorded 15 multiple-hit games, including four three-hit games…tied for the team lead with nine multiple-RBI games, including three three-RBI performances…doubled, was hit by a pitch twice and drove in two runs in the Huskies’ 13-3 victory over Northern Colorado in the championship game of the Great West Conference Tournament (5/25)…went 3-for-5 and drove in a run in a 4-3 win over Stephen F. Austin (5/7)…went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, a run, a walk and a stolen base against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (4/16)…was 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles, three RBIs, two runs and a hit by pitch in the series finale against North Dakota (4/7)…had three hits and three RBIs in the series opener against North Dakota (4/7)…went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs at Lamar (3/20).
 
Previous School: Played one season at Missouri and one season at Angelina Community College…at Missouri, saw action in 26 games, hitting .188 with three doubles, eight RBIs and five runs and started in the 2011 Big 12 Tournament Championship game.
 
High School: Was a four year letterwinner at Houston Christian High School for coach Ron Mathis…hit .441 with nine home runs and 50 RBIs as a senior…had a career .400 batting average…earned first-team all-state, first-team all-greater Houston and first-team all-district honors…was a second-team national Christian school all-American, made the state all-tournament team and played in the Tournament of the Stars.
 
Personal: Full name is Christian Edward Jarvis…born Feb. 5, 1992, in Pasadena, Texas…son of Fred and Lori Jarvis…has one brother, Tyler, and twin sisters, Rhonda and Rebekah…cousin, Danielle Bradbery, was the winner on season four of NBC’s The Voice in the summer of 2013…majoring in business.
