STEPHENVILLE, Texas – HCU women's soccer will aim for its first win of the 2025 season on Sunday afternoon when the Huskies face off against the Tarleton State Texans at 1:00 p.m. at the Tarleton State Soccer Complex.

Tarleton (1-0), meanwhile, picked up a win on Thursday evening against Southland Conference opponent UT Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg. Senior forward Stevie Reynolds scored the game-winner in the 12
th minute of a tightly-contested match that saw just four total shots on goal.
The Huskies and Texans met at Sorrels Field in 2024 with Tarleton earning a 2-0 victory. The Texans held a slim 10-8 advantage in shot attempts with seven on goals to HCU's four.
HCU returns home to Sorrels Field to host Grambling on Friday, Aug. 22, at 5:00 p.m. before heading out to Abilene, Texas for a Sunday, Aug. 24, matchup against former SLC rival Abilene Christian.
