TAMPA, Fla. - HCU women's basketball continues its road stretch on Friday morning with a non-conference matchup at South Florida. Tipoff is set for 10:00 a.m. at the Yuengling Center.

HCU enters the contest at 3-3 overall and 1-0 in Southland play after winning three-straight games, including home wins over LeTourneau and Concordia (TX) before a 79-66 road win at New Orleans to begin conference play.

Through six games, the Huskies are averaging 74.8 points per game while holding opponents to 69.7. Sophomore guard Grace Booth continues to pace the offense with 15.2 points and averages a team-best 9.8 rebounds per game while shooting 57.1 percent from the floor and 45.5 percent from deep.

Kamryn McLaurin adds 13.3 points per outing with the freshman getting to the free throw line a team-high 35 times and connecting at on 74.3 percent from the line, while Jordan Jackson provides another double-figure threat at 10.2 points per game. HCU is also getting strong contributions from Tove Caesar, Dasia Hyams, and Madelyne Davis, helping the Huskies average 15.7 assists per game and generate 11.5 steals defensively.

South Florida enters at 5-4 after a 90-58 win over New Orleans and, most recently, a home loss to No. 1 UConn earlier this week. The Bulls average 68.9 points per game and allow 69.8, shooting 41.0 percent from the field while owning a +5.1 rebounding margin.

USF is led by Edyn Battle at 14.2 points per game, with Katie Davidson (12.0) and L'or Mputu (10.3 points, 8.7 rebounds) also in double figures. Stefanie Ingram fuels the offense with 6.0 assists per game, and Fatou Diakite gives the Bulls an efficient interior presence at over 60 percent shooting.

HCU returns to Sharp Gym on Friday, Dec. 12, to resume Southland Conference play against Southeastern at 6 p.m.
