STEPHENVILLE, Texas - The HCU women's basketball team continues its opening stretch of road games this Sunday with a 2:00 p.m. non-conference matchup at Tarleton State inside the EECU Center.
The Huskies (0-1) look to pick up their first win under first-year head coach

The Texans (1-1) opened the year with a home win over Schreiner and most recently dropped an 87-77 overtime loss to Arkansas State on Friday. Shadasia Brackens led the scoring with 20 points, connecting on 7-of-9 from the floor. Kyriana Jones finished with 17 points and Gia Adams added 14. Tarleton State shot 40.7 percent (22-of-54) in the loss and was hurt by 29 turnovers.
This will be the second meeting between the programs. Tarleton State won the first-ever matchup last season, 48–42, in Houston. The two programs met for the first time last season in Houston with the Texans earning a 48-42 win. HCU senior forward

The Huskies finish off their three-game road trip with a visit to Tulsa, Okla. to take on the University of Tulsa at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13.
