HOUSTON – On Wednesday afternoon, Allan Matthews from the Harbourview Foundation presented HCU head baseball coach
Lance Berkman with a check for $30,000 to go toward the Huskies' new player development facility at Husky Field.
The grant is to be used to help pay for the equipment inside the new facility. The indoor facility features nearly 4,000 square feet of multi-purpose turf, three batting cages and a weight room with equipment from Power Lift.
The Harbourview Foundation's mission is to provide support to worthy non-profit endeavors in the areas of education, community affairs, health, and medical research.
