HOUSTON - On Tuesday afternoon, HCU men's soccer coach Ryan Pratt announced the addition of Presten Manthey to the Huskies' recruiting class for the 2023 season with the senior adding another attacking option to the HCU roster.

Manthey, a 5-10 midfielder/forward from Las Vegas, Nev., spent the last three seasons at Wright State after beginning his collegiate career at Santa Clara. At Wright State, he appeared in 41 matches with 21 starts, recording two goals and eight assists in more than 1,800 minutes on the pitch. He played one season Santa Clara, Manthey started eight of 16 games he appeared in, tallying one goal and three assists.

"Presten will add another dimension to our attack," said Pratt. "He will be a great fit in to our pressing style and will be a handful for defenders. He has very good pace, an excellent work rate and a very good nose for the goal! We are excited to add his versatility and experience to the front half of our team!"
