HOUSTON – The HBU beach volleyball team will host Stephen F. Austin and Texas A&M-Kingsville at Third Coast Volleyball Club Friday.
 
The Huskies take on the Ladyjacks at 10 a.m. and the Javelinas at 2 p.m. SFA And TAMU-K will play each other at noon.
 
Last week in Corpus Christi, head coach Cameron Sitler used the combination of juniors Maddie Butters and Lauren Huggins at number one and sophomore Alison Stanfill and freshman Abbey Reinard at the number two spot. Junior Lindsay Harris and sophomore Kristen Kleymeyer held down their usual three position, while sophomore Danielle Okeke and senior Brennan Miller played at four. Freshman Gabi Axelrod and sophomore Mary Alper rounded out the lineup at five.
 
Miller will be honored as the lone senior on the squad, prior to the 2 p.m. match, which will be her final regular-season home contest.
 
The Huskies will be at TCU next week, before returning home to host the 2022 Southland Conference Beach Volleyball Championship April 22-24 at Third Coast.
