HOUSTON – Second-seeded and host HBU swept No. 5 Nicholls and No. 4 Southeastern Saturday to advance to the semifinal of the Southland Conference Beach Volleyball Championship at Third Coast Volleyball Club.
 
Top-seeded Texas A&M-Corpus Christi advanced to the championship match with a 3-0 victory over No. 3 New Orleans. HBU and New Orleans will square off at 11 a.m. Sunday for the right to take on the Islanders for the title at 1 p.m.
