HAMMOND, La – The Southeastern Lady Lions walked off in the bottom of the seventh inning against the HBU softball team to sweep the series Saturday afternoon at North Oak Park.

The Huskies (12-26, 2-12 SLC) got on the board first in the game in the top of the second inning. Jasie Roberts tripled to right center field before Kaicey Hagler singled up the middle to drive her in.
 
Southeastern (33-12, 10-2 SLC) evened things at one in the bottom of the fifth inning when Cam Goodman drove in a run ono an infield single. The Lady Lions walked off in the bottom of the seventh inning when Lexi Johnson walked, Blaire Bizette pinch ran and stole second before advancing to third on a passed ball. Audrey Greely singled to drive in Bizette and take the game.
 
For the Huskies, Hagler had a two hit performance, going 2-for-3 while Shelby Echols and Roberts each added hits. Sarah Venker got the start in the circle and threw a complete game for HBU, allowing two runs on six hits and struck out one in six innings of work.
 
The Huskies hit the road for a midweek matchup against the UTSA Roadrunners in San Antonio on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
