BATON ROUGE, La. – HBU dropped a pair of 4-1 decisions to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and No. 2 TCU to open the LSU Beach Invitational at LSU Beach Volleyball Stadium.
 
Three of the Huskies matches against the Islanders went to three sets, with senior Brennan Miller and Maddie Butters pulling out a victory at No. 2.
 
TCU (22-0) won its 22^nd-straight match, but junior Kristen Kleymeyer and freshman Abbey Reinard won at the No. 4 spot for HBU (8-12).
