NEW ORLEANS – HBU will play two matches on Friday, followed by two more on Saturday in the Tulane Classic at White Sands Volleyball Courts. Saturday's match against Tulane can be viewed here.
 
The Huskies (5-2), winners of four-straight matches, take on Southern Miss at 10:45 a.m., then Southland Conference foe Nicholls at 3:15 p.m. Friday. HBU will then square off with host Tulane at 8:30 a.m., followed by UAB at 1 p.m. Saturday.
 
HBU's no. 1 pair of senior Brennan Miller and junior Maddie Butters and the no. 2 pair of Lauren Huggins and Alison Stanfill are both 4-3 on the season. The no. 3 duo of Lindsay Harris and Kristen Kleymeyer has won its last four and is 5-2 overall on the season. Shelby O'Neal and Gabi Axelrod have teamed up to go 3-0 at no. 4 and Abby Reinard and Kylann Griffith are 4-2 at the no. 5 spot.
 
Southern Miss is 1-8 on the season, while Nicholls is 0-7. Tulane is receiving votes in the AVCA Coaches Poll and sports a 6-2 record and UAB is 4-5.
