HOUSTON – The defending Southland Conference champion HBU volleyball team will host four other schools, including three conference rivals, in the season-opening HBU Tournament Friday and Saturday at Third Coast Volleyball Club.
 
The Huskies take on Southeastern at 11 a.m. Friday, followed by New Orleans at 5 p.m. On Saturday, HBU will take on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 1 p.m. in a rematch of last year's conference championship match, before wrapping up the event against ULM at 5 p.m.
